Here we are carving pumpkins. It was so fun this year. Sadie (with a little help from mom and dad) carved a skull and bones on her pumpkin. Matt carved some kindof robot face on his, and I went simple and made holes all over mine. We had a great time, and got many complements on our pumpkins Halloween night.

So finally, I have a chance to sit and get some posting done. We have been so busy for the past three weeks. Matt and I had the opportunity to go to France with my Mom and Dad. We visited Paris for four days. We saw everything that we could cram in. We were on the go everyday we were there. Then we drove down to the South of France to meet family I have never met before. The countryside was beautiful and meeting Family was Amazing. It was a trip of a lifetime. Thanks so much Mom and Dad, We love you!! Here are some snippets of the trip.

So the cutest thing....the other night I was putting Sadie to bed, we read a story, said her prayers and said goodnight, when she said, " mom you forgot something," I thought to myself what did I forget, then I remembered, she can't go to sleep without the cute bear that her dad gave to her for Valentines Day a couple of years ago. So I picked it up off her dresser and gave it to her. Her day of school, dance, playing, and the couple hundred cartwheels, and round-offs she did wore her right out, not even five minutes after I tucked her in, I went in to check on her and this is what I saw..She was totally zonked out, with the bear on her head, and her arms folded...luckily I had a camera close by and snuck a couple of pictures of it before it fell off...so cute. This is one of the joys of being a Mother!

Good Weather...Finally

Sadie has been dying to ride her motor scooter that Santa gave to her this past Christmas, so the weather finally cooperated with us..it was warm enough that we could stand being outside without turning into a Popsicle. She was a little hesitant at first,but it only took her about five minutes before she was going as fast as she could around our block. I was sitting in my lawn chair watching her..and I soon noticed that she was coming around the corner standing up on it..freaked me out. I quickly put a stop to that...she is little dare-devil. She absolutely loves it..can't get enough. She rides it for hours..until the battery runs out. It is fun to see her have such a good time.. Good Job Santa.

Long time, no see

OK so I know that it has been a long long time since I have blogged, but I have a good reason....During the holidays it was just too crazy. So after all the hull-a-baloo, when I finally had a moment to sit down and blog, I went to turn on my computer and it didn't work, I couldn't get it past the login screen. So I tried to fix it, didn't work, Matt tried numerous times to fix it, didn't work...needless to say we went a whole month before Joe, my brother in law, was able to come over and fix it. He is a whiz at computers. Thank you Joe, I was going insane. In the process of fixing the computer somehow we lost some of our pictures from the holidays, so I won't be able to blog those fun pictures...oh well, I will just start with my newest pictures I have taken.

This past week Sadie was the STAR of her class. So Tuesday I made a poster of pictures of Sadie to tell her class about her and the fun things that she likes to do at home. It was fun and Sadie felt special. Then for Friday Sadie was able to choose a ROYAL READER, anyone she wants to read a book to her class, and she chose her dad. It was so cute, the class lined up on either side of the doors, and presented Matt with a ROYAL CROWN, and a ROYAL CAPE, then as he walked the ROYAL CARPET they sang him a welcome song. He then read them a book that Sadie picked out called "Bad dog Marley." Cute Book. The kids loved the book and Sadie loved showing off her Dad.

The kids thought that Matt was hilarious..do you blame them, look at that face!

If you can believe it or not my baby turned seven....I can't believe it. She is growing up to fast. What a joy she has been to mine and Matts life. We feel very blessed that our Heavenly father sent her down to us. She is so fun to be around, so smart, so caring, so full of energy, and the list could go on and on forever. Thanks for being such a good girl! We love you so much Sadie!!!!

Well, we finally did it!! With all the tears and bribes and coaxing and begging, we pulled Sadies dead tooth out!!! She has had a dead tooth for three years now. We were wondering if she needed it pulled by the dentist but he said just let nature take its course, and let it fall out on its own, so we waited and waited for it to become loose, and it finally did a couple months ago. She was happy that it was loose, but kind of nervous at the same time. It was finally wiggly enough to get out, and she had had it with the tooth, so we pulled it Thursday night. She was so excited to get that black tooth out, and so were we. She took her tooth to school the next day to show her class and friends , and everyone was so happy for her, no more pirate tooth. Then the next night she put it under her pillow and the Tooth Fairy brought her three dollars, and boy was she thrilled.

What can I say about these two beautiful girls? I love them so much, what supportive friends they have been over the many years that I have known them. They were a blast to hang out with in High School, we have many stories that we still laugh our heads off about, like the time that we spied on Cami to see if she would get a kiss at the door after a date using our binoculars that we got from a Wendys kid meal, or the time we secretly put Dr. Pepper in Mandy's water and she thought that the waiter had brought her dirty water, she was so disgusted. All the fun dances that we went to, all the boyfriends we went through. They have always been great examples to me, even to this very day. Cami has always been a strong person, someone who wouldn't budge on her morals, and her faith, if there is anyone in her life that needs anything Cami is right there. I love her for that!! Mandy also has been a great example to me, she is such a funny person to hang out with, she says the funniest things, and she has always been there for me. I can always count on her when I have a question about the whole infertility issue. They both are very crafty, I call them mini Martha Stewart's. They both can whip up a very extravagant Halloween costume like nothing. I am so grateful to have been able to have these two in my life, and I am grateful that we all live somewhat close to each other, so we can still hang out. Thanks for being such great examples to me, I love you both so much!

Every year we (my mom, sisters, and their kids) have a tradition to go to Gardner Village to see the Witches during the month of October. This year we went on a Witch hunt, the kids had a blast doing it!! My mom found it on their website, you had to go around the whole village looking for certain witches, and when you found them all your prize was a Chocolate chip cookie at the Bakery for .25 cents. Then we went and ate at Archibalds(the restaurant there) it was good, and then we topped the night off with a trip to Sweet Aftons(the candy store there.) We all got to pick out a treat, I got myself a Caramel Apple.....YUM, and Sadie went for the more traditional Fun Dip.
We always have a great time up there and look forward to it every Year.

If you can believe it this is what we woke up to yesterday morning. Our first snowfall of the year.....Yikes!!
I don't think that I am ready for this. Cold is not my favorite thing in the world, but I am looking forward to the Holidays. I love Christmas time, and being with family, all cozy around a fire, drinking hot chocolate.....Yum!

I was looking through my pictures tonight and thought that this one was pretty cute of Sadie. We went to her parent teacher conference last night and her teacher couldn't say enough nice things about her. She is doing really well in her class, her teacher was really impressed how well she was doing on reading and writing, but the thing that impressed me most (and her teacher) is how nice she is to everyone in the class and how she makes everyone feel included. It is fun to hear her come home and tell me that she invited someone to play with her who didn't have anyone else to play with during recess. This is one of Sadies greatest qualities, she never wants anyone to feel bad. She is such a good girl, and such a good example to everyone around her. I am very proud of her, and I am lucky to have her call me mom.

Matt recently purchased a Rhino, it is a 4X4 side by side. He is really excited to have it, he has wanted one of these for so long. He has already been out in it about a half a dozen times. He took me and Sadie up into the mountains one late afternoon for a ride, it was so fun, we took sandwiches up with us and had a picnic, the leaves are turning colors right now, and so it was so beautiful. Sadie loved every minute of it, she just kept saying how beautiful the mountains and the trees, and the leaves were. It is a fun little toy!!

So it has been a while since the last time that I blogged, i haven't had to many pictures lately because my model started Ist grade, and she is gone for most of the day. It is weird to have her gone all day, I have free time to go shopping without someone complaining the whole time that she wished she was at home playing with friends, I have fun going to lunch with family and friends(I am available any day feel free to call). It is nice to have freedom, but I also miss her and being around her during the day. I sure love being a mom. Sadie has been a huge blessing in my life. I have been told by doctors that I probably won't be able to conceive another child, which crushed my heart, although we have tried invitro fertilization twice, getting pregnant both times and losing them both shortly after, we aren't going to give up. My awesome fertility doctor was sent to jail for a year. I know, I know, sounds bad, but I believe that he was falsely accused. He has been the best, most caring, most understanding doctor that I have been to. He is very smart, knows his stuff about fertility, and rises to the new challenges that people bring to him. He has helped so many people have their dreams of having a family come true. I haven't been to another doctor yet, and I feel right now that I just need a break from all of that stuff. So after long consideration, prayers and fasting, we have decided to adopt. The process has been long, lots of paperwork, and interviews, but well worth it. We just have one last letter to write and we will be good to go. We don't necessarily feel like we will never have any of our own children again, but we feel that we needed to proceed this way to grow our family. We are really excited, Sadie especially. She has told me time and time again that she wished she had a brother or a sister, which breaks my heart every time, but she knows that we are working hard to get her one, and let me tell you she will be THE BEST BIG SISTER ever. I sure love her, and my awesome husband who has been there for me to lean on through this whole situation. He truly is the BEST

If you can believe it or not our little munchkin is already in First grade. She was so excited to go back to school. I thought at first she was kind of putting on a little front, and that she was nervous to go, but she wasn't she went right in without any hesitation, and absolutely loved the first day. Her favorite part was eating in the lunchroom with all of her friends and being able to play with them at recess. I must say that I was a little nervous to leave her there all day, but she did awesome.

Family Fun

Last Friday we wanted to do something fun, but relaxing. We decided to try the lift ride up at Sundance. It was the first time that I had ever done it. Actually it was Sadie first time too. It was sooooo relaxing it felt amazing, the weather was perfect and the views were breathtaking. I enjoyed myself so much. Matt absolutely loved it, and Sadie had a fun time too. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, good time.

Conquering Fears

Well she finally learned how to do it. Sadie can ride a two wheeler. Last year we tried to teach her, but we didn't have success, in fact she was deathly scared to even try again. She told me that the only way she would ever ride a bike was if it had training wheels, I asked what was going to happen when she became an adult, and she told me she would still have the training wheels on. Well we conquered that fear. It really only took her about five minutes of me holding on and then she took off on her own. That is all she does now. Mom, can I go and ride my bike, I hear that about fifty times a day. I am so proud of her, way to go babe.

Happy Birthday Mom,
My moms birthday was on Monday. My dad was out of town for it, so me and my sisters decided that we needed to have a party that night for her. We all went and got pedicures while the awesome sons-in-laws watched all of the kids back at home. Then we went back and rescued the men from the kids and got some take-out Chinese food and had a feast for dinner it was tasty. I think that my mom really enjoyed the pedicure ( I did too!!) and she definitely deserves it. Thanks mom for being a great mom and a great example to me. I love you.

Here we are again up at Beautiful Bear Lake. We went up last Monday and got to stay until Saturday night. It was really fun, the kids enjoyed swimming every day, we were able to go to a little parade in Paris, Idaho (I have never seen so much candy at a parade, the kids were in heaven, it was literally raining candy on them,) for the fourth of July and watch Fireworks over the lake. We had a blast, and this time we even got in the Lake. Dad rented a boat and Matt rented a waverunner. The water was still pretty chilly, but we had fun anyway.

Here we are at our annual Bear Lake trip. We go every year with my moms brother and sisters and their kids, and their kids for my grandmas birthday.....needless to say we had a bunch of people to party with. I love getting together with all of my cousins, we have such a good time together...we need to do it more often. It was really fun and as you can tell the weather and the lake (still a little chilly) were beautiful.

This is one of our favorite things a Bear Lake....a heated pool. We spent most of Saturday in there. We had a blast and are lucky because in two weeks we get to go with just my side of the family for a week, and then at the end of July we get to go with the Marchbanks family for a week.... we can't wait.

My cute little dancer had a recital on Wednesday this week, and she did so good. The theme of the recital was Peter Pan. Sadie was a crocodile for her hip-hop dance and a magical fairy for her ballet dance. The costumes were so cute, I didn't get a picture of her in her Crocodile costume, but she said that was ok because she really loved the fairy costume the best anyways. I am so proud of her, she said that she was pretty nervous to go on stage, but went anyways. Matt was so impressed when she came out as a fairy, he thought that she was so graceful, and looked like a beautiful fairy. I think that she will grow up to be a pretty darn good dancer if she wants to. Good Job Sadie, WE LOVE YOU!

Happy retirement dad!! Saturday, my three wonderful sisters an I threw a surprise retirement party for our dad. It was awesome. We have never done any surprise party for my dad, so we thought that this was a good time to do it. The party was held at my house in the backyard, so to get him to come over to my house all nice and dressed up we told him that we were going to take him out for dinner to the Chefs Table Restaurant for his retirement. As soon as he and my mom pulled up Matt and I met him outside and asked if he would come look at a tree in our backyard that was looking a little sad, As soon as we said that, he asked what was going on, he had a hunch something other than dinner was about to happen. We took him around back and what do you know....... his Sister, her husband, their son and his wife and baby, had come from California for the party, also a cousins son from France came. Even though he knew something was going on I think that seeing them was a big surprise. It was fun to see the reaction on his face. Then the rest of the night we had people from my moms family, from their neighborhood, people from my dads work, and old friends show up. We had dinner for all of the visitors, and if you can believe it we made most of the food. We probably fed around 150 people that night, and we only had to run to the store once, because we ran out of meat. Here was the menu:

Mothers Day

So I had a great mothers day this year. I actually had a sinus cold, but that didn't stop the fun. Aimee, my awesome sister, and my dad cooked lunch for my grandma, my mom, me and my sister Ashlee. It was so good and it even tasted better because I didn't have to cook it. Also, Matt and my Dad did the dishes....what studs. Then we went to Jenny and Nates to have dinner with the Marchbanks. It was really yummy. I definitely ate alot that day.
Sadie gave me a gift certificate for a pedicure, and to my surprise Matt got me a bike. I have been taking spin classes at the gym for a while now, and I love exercising on the bike it is so much easier for me to be on a bike than running, so I kind of have been hinting around for a one. I am really excited to use it up the canyon. Thanks babe!!!!
There is nothing better in this world to me than being a mom. I love it and cherish it always. I also have two amazing moms around who set such a good example for me. They are so loving, patient, caring moms, who will do anything for their families. I am sure blessed to be close to them. I love you and thanks for always being there for me.

Last week Sadie, and I were fortunate enough to go with Matt to Florida on one of his many trips for work. Sadie and I had a fun time swimming in the Hotel Pools and in the Ocean. Poor Matt didn't get to do much swimming because he was so busy with meetings. Sadie is such a good swimmer, I didn't even have to worry about her in the deep end, she could swim all by herself. Spring Break

So this past week was Spring break for Sadie. We didn't really have plans to go anywhere, Matt was taking a little trip down south with his dad, brother, uncle, and cousins, to do a some hiking through some slot canyons. My mom and dad were going up to Park City to stay at the Canyons Resort for a convention that my dad had, and they invited us to stay a night with them, So Sadie and I decided that we would go up while Matt was on his little excursion. We were only there from Wednesday night, to Thursday late afternoon, but we had a great time. As you can tell in the pictures Sadie was in heaven, we went swimming a couple of times (it was freezing cold outside but the pools were nice and heated), and grandpa treated all of us to a pedicure (what a stud). We also ate really yummy food at the restaurant in the Hotel, and I did get to do a little shopping at the outlet malls. Thanks Mom and Dad we had a blast with you!!!! We love you!!!

Conference Weekend

This pass weekend was Conference, so on Saturday night the men went to their priesthood meeting, and we had girls night out (kind of), we were missing half of the girls, Ashlee was at home taking care of her little boys who were sick with the stomach flu, and Amber (who is pregnant) started to feel a couple of contractions, and decided that she should probably just take it easy at home. So we missed them, but still had a good time. My mom, Aimee, Sadie, and I went and ate at Los Hermanos. Yummy to my tummy. I love conference weekend, gives me a good excuse to hang out with my Families, and boy do we have fun. Sunday morning we go to the Marchbanks and have our semi-annual breakfast, Waffles with strawberries and ice cream......Sooooo good. We then watch the morning session of conference with them. Then it is off to the Bigos house to eat lunch and to celebrate Ambers, and Ashlees birthdays. We had Shish-ka-bobs, asparagus, parsley garlic potatoes, roasted tomatoes, grilled pineapple, salad and bread, and for dessert, Strawberry shortcake. What a feast, my mouth is watering just typing about it. We then watched the second half of conference, with my family, and then when that is over we watch Amber and Ashlee open presents. They got a lot of fun stuff this year. I love my families(Bigo, and Marchbanks.) Besides all of the food that I ate, my favorite part of the weekend is being able to watch conference, and listen to the Apostles speak, it always kind of gives me a picker-upper that I need. Most of you know that it has been over four years that we have been trying to have a baby, and listening to the talks every conference gives me a renewed sense that everything will work out. Heavenly Father is there and loves us and we just need to put our trust and faith in him. I am so grateful for the gospel and wonderful families, that I can hold tight to.

Here we are having Easter at the Marchbanks. We had a great time, unfortunately Matt was not able to be with us he was out of town. and we missed him, but we still had fun. Grandma got kites for all the kids to fly, and I think the adults had more fun than the kids with them. Then the kids went on their annual Easter egg hunt, and they got money and candy in their eggs. Sadie got the winning egg that had five dollars in it. She was excited. Then it was off to the backyard for a weenie roast. Hal built a fire in the garden area and we roasted hot dogs. It was a little chilly outside but the sun was out and it was a beautiful day. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for making it such a great day. Thanks for all you do. We are so lucky to have such fun families to hang out with. We love you.

I love getting together with my family, and Sadie is always looking forward to any time she gets to spend with her cousins. So most of you are probably wondering why I posted this picture.....Well the other day my doorbell rang and a police officer was standing at my door he asked if I had looked in my back yard lately....Much to my surprise when I looked back there, there was a car right through my fence.....I guess that is what I get building a house right next to a High School. A girl that looked like she had just gotten a license was turning right at the stop sign, she said that she looked down for a second as she was turning, and before she knew it she was through a fence, my guess is that she may have accidentally pushed on the gas instead of the brake.........poor girl was crying hysterically. Sadie was actually playing in the backyard with friends minutes before it happened, and they left just in the nick of time. So now we have to go through all the insurance hassel to get a new fence, but I am glad that no one got hurt.

Saturday was the opening day of Sleepy Ridge Golf course. So of course Matt was there. I had a baby shower to go to, so he took Sadie with him. Sadie actually loves to golf, Matt teaches her everything he knows, and she can putt pretty darn good. Golf is one of the many things that they like to do together. They were only able to play three holes and then the weather turned bad, but they had a fun time anyways.

They went to kangaroo zoo that day, and we let them run for over three hours.......needless to say Sadie went right to bed and slept sound the whole night. Lizzy and Dallas invited us down to St. George a couple weekends ago. It was so fun. Jenny, Nate and boys, and Grandma and Grandpa came down too. It was so nice to get out of the snow and into the sun. It was around 60 degrees down there(I know that is not so warm, but it was a lot warmer than here in Orem.) We actually had lunch outside on Saturday, it was so nice. The girls were able to do a little shopping, and the boys were able to go golfing. It was a little short, but fun to get away from the cold. We woke up one sunday morning to a snow storm, we went to church and came back and there was probably eight inches of snow on the ground. Needless to say we had a neighborhood party shoveling each others driveways. It was fun(I think that was the only time that it has been fun shoveling.) We have such good neighbors.

Here is a snow storm that blew through our neighborhood on Monday. We could barely see across the street from us. You can't tell from theses pictures, but the wind was blowing very hard with gusts around 50 mph. We actually only got about an inch of snow(thank goodness, cause I am sick of shoveling.) Sadie and I sat at the window and watched it for a while. We thought our neighbors flag pole was going to tip over onto their house, fortunately it didn't. We are supposed to get three more storms this week. Crazy Utah weather!!!!!

"Till We Meet Again"

President Gordon B. Hinckley

I was a little shocked, as probably most of you were, to find out that President Hinckley had past away. What an amazing man. It is kind of bittersweet to me. When I first found out, I couldn't help but cry. I love being able to hear his words at conference time, and throughout the rest of the year. They had such an impact in my life, and when he spoke I could feel the spirit that he possessed. He was such a gracious, humble, hilarious, loving, caring man. I will miss his words of wisdom, his fun loving spirit, and his love for the gospel. The church over the past 13 years sure has grown, due to the wonderful work he did. All of the temples that he had built is remarkable. I am so glad that I was able to grow up with him being the prophet.
On the other hand I am so grateful to know that he is with his precious wife again. What a glorious reunion that probably was, and what a remarkable life he led. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family at this time. Thank you for serving your life in the church and being such a great example to all of us!! I will miss you! I'll never forget the first time I saw President Hinckley speak as a prophet. I was in the MTC and it was the first time I really remember being old enough to see what happens when a prophets dies. I really had felt the loss of President Hunter as he had called me on my mission. I remember wondering how anyone could replace President Hunter and then President Hinckley got up to speak. I will never forget the feeling that came over that day when the Spirit testified to me that he was the Prophet called by God to preside over the Church. It was by far the strongest testimony of a prophet that I have ever recieved. I will sorely miss him and his example. He lived great in all that he did and was an example for all of us to strive to follow. He was always so kind and was always gently reminding us to stand a little taller and be a litte better. I will always remember the great impact he had on my testimony and can't wait until I can meet him again and thank him.

This past week has been pretty crazy. On the 24Th was Matt's 32ND birthday. He may be getting older, but he is still young at heart, and I love that about him, there is never a dull moment in our lives. Speaking of never a dull moment in our lives, we (Sadie and I) were on our way to meet Matt at Outback restaurant for his birthday dinner, when a guy ran a stop sign and we t-boned him in the intersection. We called Matt right away and he was there asap. Seeing Matt pull up just calmed mine and Sadies fears. We love him so much and are so grateful for everything he does for us. When he got to the scene, he told me and Sadie to get in his truck, and get warm while he took care of everything. It is the first accident that I have been in, when I was driving. It was Sadies first car accident and she was frightened by the whole thing. She cried for the rest of the night on and off. The good thing was that nobody got seriously injured, and that it wasn't my fault. Our car is in the shop getting fixed, but we do have a rental in the meantime. When we were done with all of the paperwork and getting the car towed, we were able to still go to Outback to celebrate Matt's b-day. I think it will be a birthday that he will never forget. We sure are grateful for such a wonderful man in our lives.

Sorry, I haven't kept up on my blog very well lately. I have been so busy with Christmas parties and shopping. I have finally gotten all of the shopping done, now I just need to wrap everything, which will probably take me a couple of days. In spite of being so busy, I love, love, love the Christmas Holiday. I love the spirit that it brings into my crazy life. I love being with family, and I am so grateful that I am able to see all of them this Christmas season. I love the gospel, and am thankful to have it in my life, without it I would be lost. We LOVE you all, and hope that your HOLIDAYS are filled with SPARKLES and SPIRIT.

This was the first heavy snowfall this year. Sadie couldn't handle being inside anymore so we dressed her up and let her play in the snow. She had a blast. The neighbors were out building an igloo, so she went over to help. She stayed out there for a good couple of hours. When she was done her and four of her friends came in to warm up with some hot chocolate. Ah to be a kid again!!!!

Here is the Bigo family picture. We took it in my parents backyard. Jared(Ashlees husband) set up the camera, set the timer, and ran as fast as he could before the camera went off. It was kind of hard to have the babies look at the camera at the same time, but we tried our hardest. Sadie and I had so much fun decorating our gingerbread house. We do this every year at my moms, a day or two after Thanksgiving. My mom is so good to make all of the gingerbread by scratch, and make sure that we have all the candy that we need. My sisters Aimee, and Amber(and her kids) were there this year. Ashlee was in California for Thanksgiving, we sure missed her and her cute boys. Sadie had so much fun with her cousins. I love this tradition, Thanks Mom!!!!!

Today Sadie and I went to Kangaroo Zoo with some neighbors. Sadie loves that place, it is pretty relaxing for me too. We were there for over three hours. She ran nonstop the whole time and I have a feeling that she will sleep good tonight. It is fun to have something around here where she can run around to her hearts content when it is cold outside. Oh, to be a kid again!!!!

This year my Mom and Dad were invited to the Annual Marchbanks Halloween party. They were good sports and dressed up as the King and Queen of Hawaii(gotta love the wigs.) It was so fun to have them there. Everybody kept telling me how cute and fun they were.

It has taken me awhile to get our Halloween pictures up, but here they are. Sadie wanted to be a witch this year, Matt was Nacho Libre, and I was the Nunn that Nacho Libre liked in the movie. We had a fun time at the Marchbanks annual Halloween party. The kids got to go around to all the adults and trick-or-treat, they had a limbo going and we danced the night away. They also gave out prizes for the best costume and of course Matt won the grand prize. I also took some pictures of Sadie and Matt carving a pumpkin, Sadie wanted to have a scary faced pumpkin this year. Halloween was great this year, and we are looking forward for the rest of this Holiday season.

This is what me and Sadie woke up to on sunday. We could not believe all the snow. It snowed a little on saturday, but we were surprised to see this much in the morning. Matt went on the hunt this weekend, and I am sure they got dumped on. Good thing that Mark got a motorhome, so they could keep somewhat warm, and dry.

This was a fun outing that we went on with some of our neighbors. We went to Yuba Lake. Five families came, so we had quite the crew. We had fun tubing, wakeboarding, hanging out at the beach eating good food, and playing around in the sand. Sadie was having so much fun on the tube, she went on a ride with her friend Emma. They were holding on so tight and a big wave came and knocked them off the tube. Needless to say they were freaked out, they both came out of the water with big eyes screaming help (thank heavens for life jackets.) I was on the other tube, so I jumped in to grab them. It took them a while until they wanted to get back on the tube, but they both did, and that time they had a blast. It was a fun lake, it reminded us Lake Powell a little(though the water wasn't as warm.) Here are some of our fun pictures.

This september we were fortunate enough to take the family to Hawaii. We went to the island of Kauai. It is such a beautiful island, so green, and so many gorgeous flowers. We were able to have some fun adventures there, we went on a helicopter ride around the island, a boat ride around the Napali Coast(a part of the island that you can only get to by boat.) we saw dolphins, and sea turtles, and the most beautiful fish(we all went snorkeling, even Sadie). Matt jumped off some waterfalls that were pretty high, Sadie and I decided that they may be a little to high for us ( Yeah, I know I'm chicken.) It was a very fun vacation, and a very much needed one as well.

This is Sadies first day of kindergarten. She sure looks excited to go, but infact the minute we walked into class the tears started to flow. Her teacher(Mrs. Jones) took it from there, she grabbed Sadie from me and told me to run. When I came to pick her up Mrs. Jones said that the tears only lasted about a minute, and then she was fine. The second day of school was a little better, but there still were some tears. Ever since then she has been fine and very excited about school.
I thought that I would also put in a picture of her cute toenails, she wanted them to look pretty for the first day of school.
